The MWPBA outdoor season is about to begin, and they kick off with the games in St. Louis, May 15-16. Friday night features an open solo piping contest at the Schlafly Tap Room (2100 Locust St., St. Louis) with contests in piobaireachd, MSR, Hornpipe/Jig & 6/8 March. The schedule is here.
Saturday features the amateur and band solo competitions, and is held at Schroeder Park (359 Old Meramec Station Rd., Manchester, MO), with solos beginning at 8:30 a.m., and bands starting at 2:30 p.m. The amateur solo schedule is here, the band schedule is here.
