The Milwaukee Scottish Pipe Band is once again hosting its Fall Highland Gathering – to be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Klemmer’s Banquet Center, 10401 West Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee, WI.
The 2104 Fall Highland Gathering features:
- A new format Solo Piping Competition and Solo Snare Drumming Competition in the morning and afternoon – with cash prizes and quaichs awarded in all contests.
- A superb, sit-down Scottish Whisky Tasting, presented by the Milwaukee St. Andrew’s Society’s renowned Scotch Masters and featuring the ‘Classic Six’ single malts distributed by UDV Diageo Corporation.

A splendid, family-style, two-entrée dinner with Haggis – followed by 3 hours of the finest Scottish entertainment in the area: Pipe bands, Highland dancing, Ceilidh music, Scottish country dancing, and “sangs and clatter”! Featured entertainers include:

- Billy Mitchell Scottish Pipe Band
- Caledonian Scottish Dancers
- Chicago Celtic Pipe Band
- Greater Midwest Pipe Band
- Madison Pipes and Drums
- Milwaukee Scottish Pipe Band
- Scottish meat pies, sausage rolls, and Highland pasties are available throughout the day. A Silent Auction, 50-50 Raffle, Vendors, and Information Tables round out the offerings.
