The Bruce Gandy Bagpiping Development Society is holding one of its big fundraising initiatives at the end of May and we’re looking for your help. Basically, we are going to be having a big online yard sale / auction ( for some items) and we are looking for you to do one of three things, if you wish
- bid on some of the items that will be up for sale;
- forward this off to your contacts so they know about this initiative; and
- most importantly, we are looking for people to contribute items to the auction.
All of the money raised will go directly into the trust fund which will one day soon provide some tuition scholarships for deserving pipers. Many items have been promised so far, some chanters, sets of reeds etc and other stuff that others may have around that is still of good value but not in use just now. What will really make this fundraiser both fun and interesting will be to receive some “collectibles” or “one off, unique” items. We have a few of them just now but would love for you to consider donating anything you can to make this more successful and interesting as well.
The Website is only recently up and very soon we will be showing a page with all of the items that will be up for sale.
Right now, our goal is to try to fill up the page with a large assortment of items for people to see.
