This year’s Oktenorfest drumming workshop is on Saturday October 26th in Elgin, Illinois.
This year the instructors are:
- Andrew Elliott tenor drumming (Field Marshall Montgomery 2013 World Pipe Band Champion & World Drum Corps Champion)
- Tyler Fry tenor drumming (needs no introduction!!)
- Duncan Millar snare drumming (Simon Fraser University Pipe Band and Multi World Champion drummer)
- John Fisher snare drumming (Spirit of Scotland Pipe Band as well as universally recognized technique guru)
- Scott Currie bass drumming (Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band and Multi World Drum Corps and Pipe Band Champion)
Cost for Oktenorfest is $99 which includes a box lunch, morning coffee and pastries with classes beginning at 8:30am then concluding by 5pm. This is a full day of bass, snare & tenor drumming for players of all levels as well as a rare opportunity to learn from the very best in the pipe band world.
