We were sad today to learn of the passing of Nancy Hoinacki.  Nancy was the wife of Past MWPBA President Drew Hoinacki and long time worker and behind the scenes supporter of the MWPBA and piping and drumming in general.  Nancy had a long fight with cancer and passed away today.  Our thoughts and prayers are for Nancy and with Drew, her son Andrew and daughters Aimee and Lexie.

Nancy's visitation will be held from 2pm until 8pm on Tuesday, 15th July, at Markiewicz's Funeral Home in Lemont, IL. The funeral mass will be held at 10am on Wednesday, 16th July, at St. Patrick Church, also in Lemont. Burial will follow at the S.S. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery. A trio of Chicago-based pipers from the LA Scots will be playing during the funeral mass, but Nancy knew so many of you from her years of service in the MWPBA tent at all the games, and so we want anyone who may be planning on attending the service and wishes to participate in playing Amazing Grace at the closing of the graveside service to please feel welcome to bring your pipes or drums and do so.
